Final paper submission is now closed.

Instructions for Final Manuscript Preparation:

Final manuscripts must be uploaded via EDAS by going to the above link. To upload your manuscript, login to EDAS, select your paper via the "My papers" tab and click on the upload icon next to the "Final manuscript" field.
The deadline for uploading the final manuscripts through EDAS is January 28th, 2020. This is a hard deadline and will NOT be extended. Once the deadline passes, uploading of papers will no longer be possible.
Please note of the following instructions before preparing your final manuscript(s):

  • Please incorporate all the comments of the reviewers in preparing the final manuscript.
  • The page limit of each paper is strictly SIX double-column pages, with single line spacing, font size no less than 10 points and minimum margin of 18 mm.
  • Names and affiliations of all authors must be included during this round of submission. (note that your original submission did not have your names and affiliations as we insisted on double-blind review)
  • No bookmarks and links should be presented in the document.
  • Do not put page numbers.
  • Do not include any contents in the margins, including header/footer, except for the copyright notice.
  • You are encouraged to use LaTeX to format your final manuscript using the standard IEEE template files available at " IEEE conference format".
  • Please embed all fonts while preparing the PDF file.

Instructions for Final Manuscript Submission:

  • Please make sure that the title, abstract and list of authors in the final manuscript coincide with the respective fields in EDAS. It is not possible to add authors after paper acceptance.
  • Please complete your registration before starting the submission process. At least one author must register by paying the full registration fee before the registration deadline of 28th January, 2020. That means, even when only a student author is registering on or before 28th January, 2020, he/she will have to pay the full fee. If this is not adhered to, the paper will be moved out of the program and will not form part of the proceedings. Please go to registration page for more details.
  • The Camera Ready Manuscript must be made IEEE Xplore Compatible by running it through PDF eXpress. Please follow the following steps to generate an IEEE Xplore compatible document/manuscript:
    • Add the copyright clearance code in your manuscript. Click here for instructions.
    • Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress website. If you already have a user account, use your registered email id and password. Otherwise, you will need to create a new account.
    • Use the Conference ID: 48643X
    • Upload the source file for Conversion, and/or PDF for Checking.
    • Use the IEEE PDF eXpress web site to generate an IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF. The site contains instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support.
  • After getting an IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF, log in to your EDAS account, and go to the page that lists your paper.
  • The next job is to fill the copyright form. Go to the section entitled "Copyright form" and click on the icon. Then click on "IEEE copyright submission" button. This will take you to the IEEE copyright website. Follow the procedure listed there to fill the form.
  • Once this is done, you can go ahead and upload your final manuscript via EDAS, after logging into your EDAS account. In your EDAS home page, click on "My papers" and then click on the paper that you have submitted to NCC 2020. This will open on a new page, which will include a link to submit your final (pdfeXpress approved) manuscript.

In addition to the above, in order for your paper to be included in the NCC 2020 proceedings published in IEEE Xplore, the paper must be presented at the National Conference on Communications - 2020. A paper with no presenter may be removed from the conference proceedings.
